Childrens Inn Mailboxes: Fish Pond Craft

Kids and adults worked side by side by side coloring, cutting, stapling, and assembling a colorful collection of fishing pond games. These crafts are sure to bring entertainment and smiles to the seriously ill children NIH's Children's Inn.

Stories from the Children's Inn Mission

Children's Inn Crafts was all about kids helping kids. The noise level was joyful, fingers were busy, and the Crossroads kids were happy to be bringing sunshine into someone's life.

All the crafts made through this mission will be distributed as gifts to very ill children currently receiving intensive medical treatments through the health care program at The Children's Inn. The Children's Inn is the pediatric care provider for the National Institutes of Health. Trish and Jen were so proud of their young servants, and grateful for the helpful parents who accompanied them. The bounty of beautiful crafts made are truly a treasure that will bring joy to the sick children who will receive them.

Parents were all smiles as they watched their children learning to serve in Jesus' name. For at least one of the older kids, this opportunity to make crafts for Children's Inn was a continuation of a mission she began with her family at the age of 4. Kids who are invited to serve at a young age usually choose to continue serving into adolescence and beyond...
